United Church of Canada (UCC)
The UCC’s home site is an excellent resource for a variety of topics. It provides information of global justice and partnerships, ecumenical and interfaith relationships, aboriginal justice, and ecology, all with ways to get involved in current actions, campaigns, and appeals. There are also resources for congregational life, worship, Ministry & Personnel, and various books and videos.
United Church Earth Stewards (UCES)
The United Church Earth Stewards (UCES) consists of a group of members from the five Churches of the Central Fraser Valley: Trinity Memorial, Gladwin Heights and Mt. Lehman in Abbotsford, Aldergrove United in Aldergrove and St. Andrew’s United in Mission. The group raises funds for the planting of trees, which we do in conjunction with the City of Abbotsford. We also promote advocacy in several areas: including light rail, protection of salmon habitat, reporting on local environmental pollution and a number of other issues. We support others in their climate advocacy. Over the past 6 years, we have planted close to 2,000 trees. The mission of this passionate group is to fulfill the statement in the New Creed: “to live with respect in creation”.

Youth who do not have support networks can use MY House which provides showers, food, medical care, and access to other services in our community.

Serenata
Formed in 2000, twenty women met in the sanctuary of St. Andrew's United Church for the first rehearsal of the choir that would become the Serenata Singers. Twenty years later, Serenata remains an unauditioned community women's choir based in Mission. We sing together to both celebrate and create a society of music-lovers that is inclusive, accessible, supportive, and full of the joy of song.
